GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT - FOGLESONG
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert H. Foglesong, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy chief of staff, air and space operations, Headquarters United States Air Force, The Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Foglesong is currently serving as commander, Twelfth Air Force, Air Combat Command; commander, United States Southern Command Air Forces; and commander, reconnaissance task force, United States Strategic Command, Davis-Monthan AFB Ariz.
