GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Maj. Gen. Roy E. Beauchamp for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy commanding general, U. S. Army Materiel Command, Alexandria, Va.
Beauchamp is currently serving as the director for Logistics and Security Assistance, J-4/ J-7, U. S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
