FLAG AND GENERAL OFFICER ASSIGNMENTS
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vernon E. Clark announced today the following assignments:
Navy Rear Adm. (Select) Michael R. Johnson is being assigned as commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command/Chief of Civil Engineers, Washington, D.C. Johnson is currently serving as commander, Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, Va.
Navy Rear Adm. (Lower Half) (Select) Robert L. Phillips is being assigned as commander, Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, Va. Phillips is currently serving as commanding officer, Southwest Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Diego, Calif.
