FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern E. Clark announced today the following assignments:
Navy Rear Adm. (Select) Gary Roughead is being assigned as chief of Legislative Affairs, Washington, D.C. Roughead is currently serving as commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group Two.
Navy Rear Adm. (Lower Half) (Select) Michael A. Sharp is being assigned as program executive officer, Mine Warfare, Arlington, Va. Sharp is currently serving as project manager, Submarine Communications Program Office, Naval Space and Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif.
