FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Rear Admiral (lower half) James A. Johnson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Johnson is currently serving as medical officer to the Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.
Navy Rear Admiral (lower half) Kathleen L. Martin has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Martin is currently serving as commander, National Naval Medical Center Bethesda and director, Nurse Corps, Bethesda, MD.
