FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Rand H. Fisher has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Fisher is currently serving as commander, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Space Field Activity, and director, Naval Space Technology Systems Programs, PD-14, Chantilly, Va.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Charles H. Johnston, Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Johnston is currently serving as commander, Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif.
