GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Army Reserve Brig. Gen. James P. Collins for appointment to the grade of major general. Collins is currently serving as the commander, 96th Regional Support Command, Fort Douglas, Utah.
