Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern E. Clark announced today the following assignments:
Navy Rear Adm. Phillip M. Balisle is being assigned as director, Surface Warfare Division, N76, OPNAV, Washington, D.C. Balisle is currently serving as commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group Three.
Navy Rear Adm. Rodney P. Rempt is being assigned as president, Naval War College, Newport, R.I. Rempt is currently serving as director, Surface Warfare Division, N76, OPNAV, and assistant chief of naval operations for missile defense, Washington, D.C.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) John G. Morgan, Jr., is being assigned as commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group Twelve. Morgan is currently serving as deputy for acquisition strategy, Ballistic Missile Defense Organization, Washington, D.C.
