GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Gen. Hal M. Hornburg for appointment to the grade of general with assignment as commander, Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va. Hornburg is currently serving as commander, Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
