GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS - MAJOR GENERAL

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Donna F. Barbisch has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Barbisch is currently serving as military assistant (individual mobilization augmentee), Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Manpower and Reserve Affairs), Washington, D.C.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Jamie S. Barkin has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Barkin is currently serving as commander, 3d Medical Command, Decatur, Ga.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Robert W. Chestnut has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Chestnut is currently serving as assistant deputy chief of staff for operations for mobilization and reserve affairs (individual mobilization augmentee), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Richard S. Colt has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Colt is currently serving as commander, 77th Regional Support Command, Fort Totten, N.Y.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Lowell C. Detamore has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Detamore is currently serving as commander, 335th Theater Signal Command, East Point, Ga.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Douglas O. Dollar has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Dollar is currently serving as commander, 80th Division (Institutional Training), Richmond, Va.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Kenneth D. Herbst has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Herbst is currently serving as deputy surgeon general (individual mobilization augmentee), Mobilization, Readiness and Reserve Affairs, Office of The Surgeon General, U.S. Army, Falls Church, Va.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Karol A. Kennedy has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Kennedy is currently serving as commander, 99th Regional Support Command, Oakdale, Pa.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Rodney M. Kobayashi has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Kobayashi is currently serving as commander, 91st Division (Training Support), Dublin, Calif.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Robert B. Ostenberg has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Ostenberg is currently serving as commander, 63d Regional Support Command, Los Alamitos, Calif.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Michael W. Symanski has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Symanski is currently serving as commander, 89th Regional Support Command, Wichita, Kan.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. William B. Watson, Jr., has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Watson is currently serving as commander, U.S. Army Reserve Readiness Command, Fort Jackson, S.C.

BRIGADIER GENERAL

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Army Reserve Col. James E. Archer has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Archer is currently serving as assistant division commander, 95th Division (Institutional Training), Oklahoma City, Okla.

Army Reserve Col. Thomas M. Bryson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Bryson is currently serving as deputy commander, 81st Regional Support Command, Birmingham, Ala.

Army Reserve Col. Peter S. Cooke has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Cooke is currently serving as deputy commander, 96th Regional Support Command, Fort Douglas, Utah.

Army Reserve Col. Donna L. Dacier has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Dacier is currently serving as deputy commander, 63d Regional Support Command, Los Alamitos, Calif.

Army Reserve Col. Charles H. Davidson IV has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Davidson is currently serving as commander, 350th Civil Affairs Command, Pensacola, Fla.

Army Reserve Col. Michael R. Eyre has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Eyre is currently serving as deputy commander, 99th Regional Support Command, Oakdale, Pa.

Army Reserve Col. Donald L. Jacka, Jr., has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Jacka is currently serving as commander, 3d Corps Support Command, Des Moines, Iowa.

Army Reserve Col. William H. Johnson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Johnson is currently serving as deputy director for operations and logistics (individual mobilization augmentee), U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

Army Reserve Col. Robert J. Kasulke has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Kasulke is currently serving as commander, 8th Medical Brigade, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Army Reserve Col. Jack L. Killen has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Killen is currently serving as deputy commander for administration, 3d Medical Command, Decatur, Ga.

Army Reserve Col. John C. Levasseur has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Levasseur is currently serving as deputy director, Reserve Component Mobilization (individual mobilization augmentee), J-92, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va.

Army Reserve Col. James A. Mobley has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Mobley is currently serving as commander, 807th Medical Brigade, Seagoville, Texas.

Army Reserve Col. Mark A. Montjar has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Montjar is currently serving as assistant deputy chief of staff for logistics and operations (individual mobilization augmentee), U.S. Army Materiel Command, Alexandria, Va.

Army Reserve Col. Carrie L. Nero has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Nero is currently serving as chief nurse, 3d Medical Command, Decatur, Ga.

Army Reserve Col. Arthur C. Nuttall has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Nuttall is currently serving as deputy commanding general for mobilization and training (individual mobilization augmentee), U.S. Army Ordnance Center & School, Aberdeen, Md.

Army Reserve Col. Paulette M. Risher has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Risher is currently serving as commander, 353d Civil Affairs Command, Bronx, N.Y.

Army Reserve Col. Kenneth B. Ross has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Ross is currently serving as assistant division commander, 104th Division (Institutional Training), Vancouver, Wash.

Army Reserve Col. William Terpeluk has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Terpeluk is currently serving as deputy commander, 77th Regional Support Command, Fort Totten, N.Y.

Army Reserve Col. Michael H. Walter has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Walter is currently serving as commander, 332d Medical Brigade, Nashville, Tenn.

Army Reserve Col. Roger L. Ward has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Ward is currently serving as deputy commander, 335th Theater Signal Command, East Point, Ga.

Army Reserve Col. David Zalis has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Zalis is currently serving as assistant chief of chaplains (individual mobilization augmentee), Office of the Chief of Chaplains, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.

Army Reserve Col. Bruce E. Zukauskas has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Zukauskas is currently serving as deputy commander, 94th Regional Support Command, Ayer, Mass.
