This week the Army and the Air Force announce increases of 2,143 and 44 reservists respectively on active duty in support of the partial mobilization, while the Marine Corps announces a decrease of 11 fewer reservists. The net collective result is 2,176 more reservists than last week.
Total number currently on active duty in support of the partial mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 27,965; Naval Reserve, 10,597; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 35,775; Marine Corps Reserve, 4,398; and the Coast Guard Reserve 1,841. This brings the total Reserve and National Guard on active duty to 80,576 from 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and individual augmentees.
At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it is possible for these figures to either increase or decrease.
