GENERAL AND FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced today that Navy Rear Adm. Daniel H. Stone is being assigned as director for logistics, J-4, U.S. Northern Command. Stone is currently assigned as deputy chief of staff for logistics, Fleet Supply and Ordnance, N4, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
BRIGADIER GENERAL
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric K. Shinseki announced today that Army Col. (promotable) Volney J. Warner is being assigned as chief, Office of Military Cooperation, Afghanistan. Warner is currently serving as special assistant to the commanding general, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
