Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has nominated Air Force Col. Thomas F. Deppe for appointment to brigadier general. Deppe is currently assigned as deputy director for operations, National Military Command Center, J-3, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Army Chief of Staff Eric K. Shinseki announced today the following assignments:
Army Brig. Gen. William C. Feyk is being assigned as deputy commanding general, III Corps and Fort Hood, Fort Hood, Texas. Feyk is currently serving as deputy commanding general and chief of staff, U.S. Army Accessions Command, Fort Monroe, Va.
Army Brig. Gen. Bernardo C. Negrete is being assigned as deputy commanding general and chief of staff, U.S. Army Accessions Command, Fort Monroe, Va. Negrete is currently serving as deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, Fort Knox, Ky.
