GENERAL OFFICER ASSIGNMENT
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has nominated Air Force Lt. Gen Thomas B. Goslin for reappointment to the rank of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. Goslin is currently serving as deputy commander in chief, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base.
