GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Lieutenant General Eugene E. Habiger, United States Air Force, for
reappointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as Deputy
Chief of Staff, Personnel, Headquarters United States Air Force, Washington DC.
General Habiger is currently assigned as Vice Commander, Air Education and
Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
General Habiger was born June 11, 1939, in Oakland, California.
