GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has nominated Marine Corps Reserve Brig. Gen. Cornell A. Wilson Jr. for appointment to the rank of major general. Wilson is currently serving as the commanding general, II Marine Augmentation Command Element, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
