FLAG OFFICER ASSIGNMENTS
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced today that Navy Rear Adm. David T. Hart, Jr., is being assigned as assistant director, Fleet Readiness Division, N43, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. Hart is currently assigned as deputy commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe, London, U.K.
REAR ADMIRAL (LOWER HALF)
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced today that Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Harold D. Starling is being assigned as commander, Carrier Group Five. Starling is currently serving as assistant chief of staff, Operations, Intelligence and Exercises, Commander, East Atlantic/Allied Naval Forces North.
