Army Maj. Gen. Thomas G. Miller, commanding general, U.S. Army Japan and 9th Theater Support Command, Japan, to deputy chief of staff, G-3/5/7 (Readiness), U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort McPherson, Ga., with a report date to be determined.
Army Maj. Gen. James D. Thurman, director of training, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3, U.S. Army, with duty as chief, Operations, Coalition Forces Land Component Command, Camp Doha, Kuwait, to commanding general, 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized), Fort Hood, Texas, with a report date to be determined.
