Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric K. Shinseki announced the following assignments:

MAJOR GENERAL

Army Maj. Gen. Robert T. Dail, commanding general and commandant, U.S. Army Transportation Center and School, Fort Eustis, Va., to director, J-3, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., with a report date to be determined.

Army Maj. Gen. John C. Doesburg, commanding general, U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., to commanding general, U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., with a report date to be determined.
