ADMIRAL GIAMBASTIANI NAMED SAC TRANSFORMATION
NATO today announced the appointment of Admiral Edmund P. Giambastiani, Jr., U.S. Navy, as supreme allied commander for transformation. Admiral Giambastiani is currently serving as the commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command. With the advice and consent of the Senate, the president will appoint him to the rank of admiral while serving in these positions.
