GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense Willliam J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Lieutenant General John M. Nowak, United States Air Force, for
advancement on the retired list in the grade of lieutenant general. General
Nowak is currently serving as Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics, Headquarters
United States Air Force, Pentagon, Washington DC.
General Nowak was born December 17, 1941, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
