FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Vice Admiral David M. Bennett, U.S. Navy, to be placed on the retired
list in his current grade. Vice Admiral Bennett is scheduled to retire
September 1, 1995, after completion of more than thirty-five years of active
service. He is currently serving as Inspector General, Department of the Navy,
in Washington, D.C.
