announced today that the president has made
the following nominations:
MAJOR GENERAL
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. George A.
Alexander has been nominated for appointment
to the rank of major general. Alexander is
currently serving as assistant to the Surgeon
General, Office of the Surgeon General, U.S.
Army, Falls Church, Va.
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Edmund T.
Beckette has been nominated for appointment
to the rank of major general. Beckette is
currently serving as deputy commander,
Missouri State Area Command, Jefferson City,
Mo.
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Wesley E.
Craig, Jr., has been nominated for
appointment to the rank of major general.
Craig is currently serving as commander, 28th
Infantry Division, Harrisburg, Pa.
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. James R.
Mason has been nominated for appointment to
the rank of major general. Mason is currently
serving as deputy commander, 35th Infantry
Division, Louisville, Ky.
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Gerald P.
Minetti has been nominated for appointment to
the rank of major general. Minetti is
currently serving as deputy to the Director
for Logistics and Security Assistance, U.S.
Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base,
Fla.
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Richard C.
Nash has been nominated for appointment to
the rank of major general. Nash is currently
serving as deputy commander, Minnesota State

Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Gary A.
Pappas has been nominated for appointment to
the rank of major general. Pappas is
