General Officer Assignment
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker announced today that Army Maj. Gen. Karl W. Eikenberry is being assigned as director, J-5, U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii. Eikenberry is currently serving as chief, Office of Military Cooperation - Afghanistan, U.S. Embassy, Kabul, Coalition Joint Civil Military Operations Task Force Kabul, Office of Military Cooperation - Afghanistan.
