GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Colonel William J. Dendinger, United States Air Force, for promotion
to brigadier general and assignment as the Deputy Chief of Chaplains,
Headquarters United States Air Force, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, DC.
Colonel Dendinger is currently assigned as Command Chaplain, Air Combat
Command, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.
Colonel Dendinger was born May 20, 1939, in Coleridge, Nebraska.
