Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President
has nominated:
Maj Gen Larry J. Dodgen, United States Army, for appointment to the rank of
lieutenant general and assignment as the Commanding General, United States
Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Arlington, Virginia. He is
currently serving as the Commanding General, United States Army Aviation and
Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
