DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pvt. Algernon Adams, 36, of Aiken, S.C., died on Oct. 28, of non-combat related injuries at Forward Operating Base St. Mere, Iraq.
Adams was assigned to the 122nd Engineer Battalion, Army National Guard,
Edgefield, S.C.
The incident is under investigation.
