General Officer Assignment
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker announced today the assignment of the following general officer:
Army Brig. Gen. Harry B. Axson, Jr., director, Military Personnel Policy, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C., to deputy director of operations, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., with a report date of Dec. 1, 2003.
