General Officer Announcements

            Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

 

            Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Gregory J. Hunt has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general.  Hunt is currently serving as the commander, 100th Division (Institutional Training), Louisville, Ky.

 

            Army Reserve Col. José M. Vallejo has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Vallejo is currently serving as the commander, 1st Brigade/assistant division commander, 75th Division (Training Support), Houston, Texas.
