FLAG OFFICER ASSIGNMENT
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. (selectee) Albert M. Calland III for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as associate director of Central Intelligence for Military Support, Central Intelligence Agency, McLean, Va. Calland is currently serving as commander, Naval Special Warfare Command, Coronado, Calif.
