Marine Dies in Pentagon
Marine Lance Cpl Jennifer A. Merrihew, 19, died of an apparent self-inflicted
gunshot wound to the head at approximately 5:15 pm Monday in a Pentagon rest
room. Merrihew was assigned to Headquarters, Service Company, Headquarters
Battalion, Headquarters Marine Corps, Arlington, Va. Her hometown is Spring,
Texas.
The death is under investigation by the Defense Protective Services.
