GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President hasnominated Lt. Gen. Marcus A. Anderson, United States Air Force, for advancementon the retired list in the grade of lieutenant general.
Anderson is currentlyassigned as the Inspector General of the Air Force, Office of the Secretary ofthe Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Anderson was born April 12, 1939, in Everett, Wash.
