General Officer Assignments

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker announced today the assignment of the following general officers:

BRIGADIER GENERAL

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. James E. Archer, assistant division commander, 95th Division (Institutional Training), Oklahoma City, Okla., to commander, 95th Division (Institutional Training), Oklahoma City, Okla., with a report date to be determined.

Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Steven P. Best, commander, 1st Brigade, and assistant division commander, 85th Division (Training Support), Arlington Heights, Ill., to commander, 75th Division (Training Support), Houston, Texas, with a report date to be determined.
