DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Jason C. Ludlam, 22, of Arlington, Texas, died March 19 in Baqubah, Iraq, when he was electrocuted while laying telephone wires. Ludlam was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, based in Vilseck, Germany.

The incident is under investigation.
