GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Lt. Gen. Stephen B. Croker, United States Air Force, for advancement
on the Retired List in the grade of lieutenant general. Croker is currently
assigned as commander, Eighth Air Force, Air Combat Command, Barksdale AFB,
La.
Croker was born Oct. 16, 1942, in Evanston, Ill.
