General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has nominated:
Army Major General Kevin C. Kiley for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as the surgeon general/commanding general, U. S. Army Medical Command, Falls Church, Va. Kiley is currently serving as commanding general, North Atlantic Regional Medical Command/Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
