The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Devin J. Grella, 21, of Medina, Ohio, died September 6 in Iraq, after an improvised explosive device exploded near his convoy vehicle. Grella was assigned to the Army Reserves 706th Transportation Company from Mansfield, Ohio.
The incident is under investigation.
