Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. Lewis W. Crenshaw, Jr. for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Resources, Requirements and Assessments, N8, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Crenshaw is currently serving as Deputy Commander, United States Naval Forces, Europe, London, England.
