DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Andrew C. Ehrlich, 21, of Mesa, Ariz., died Oct. 18 in Muqdadiyah, Iraq, of non-combat related injuries. Ehrlich was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck, Germany.

The incident is under investigation.
