Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Marine Corps Col James C. Walker for appointment to the rank of brigadier general and assignment as the staff judge advocate to the Commandant of the Marine Corps. Walker is currently serving as the military secretary to the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
