DoD Identifies Marine Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Jeffrey Lam, 22, of Queens, N.Y., died Nov. 8 as a result of a non-hostile vehicle incident in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Corps Reserves 6th Communications Battalion, 4th Force Service Support Group, Brooklyn, N.Y.
