The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Daryl A. Davis, 20, of Orlando, Fla., died Nov. 29 in Iraq when his HMWWV was involved in a traffic accident. Davis was assigned to the Army National Guard's 144th Transportation Company, Marianna, Fla.
