The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Brent T. Vroman, 21, of Oshkosh, Wis., died Dec. 13 from wounds received as a result of enemy action in Babil Province, Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Corps Reserves 2^nd Battalion, 24^th Marine Regiment, 4^th Marine Division, headquartered in Chicago, Ill.
