The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Jeff LeBrun, 21, from Buffalo, N.Y., died Jan. 1 in Baghdad, Iraq, when his military vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device. LeBrun was assigned to the Armys 2nd Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.
