The Department of Defense announced today the death of two Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Matthew W. Holloway, 21, of Fulton, Texas.

Lance Cpl. Juan R. Rodriguez Velasco, 23, of El Cenizo, Texas.

Both Marines died Jan. 13 from injuries received as a result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Both Marines were assigned to Marine Forces Reserves 1^st Battalion, 23^rd Marine Regiment, 4^th Marine Division, Corpus Christi, Texas.
