The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Gunnar D. Becker, 19, of Forestburg, S.D., died Jan. 13 in Mosul, Iraq, of non-combat related injuries. Becker was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck, Germany.
