Flag Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Donald R. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nominations:

 

Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Raymond K. Alexander has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Alexander is currently serving as deputy commander, First Naval Construction Division, Little Creek, Va.

 

Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) David O. Anderson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Anderson is currently serving as deputy commander, SECOND Fleet/Deputy Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Va.

 

Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Hugo G. Blackwood has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Blackwood is currently serving as deputy commander, Military Sealift Command, Atlantic/Pacific/Europe, Washington, D.C.

 

Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Dirk J. Debbink has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Debbink is currently serving as Reserve deputy commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet/Deputy Commander, Navy Region Midwest/ Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

 

Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Ben F. Gaumer has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Gaumer is currently serving as assistant deputy chief, Reserve Affairs, M10, Bureau of Medicine, Washington, D.C.

 

Naval Reserve Rear Admiral (lower half) Craig O. McDonald has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. McDonald is currently serving as chief, Office of Defense Representative, Pakistan, United States Central Command, Islamabad, Pakistan.

 

Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Henry B. Tomlin III has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Tomlin is currently serving as commander, Naval Expeditionary Logistics Force, Williamsburg, Va.
