Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has nominated Navy Vice Adm. Henry G. Ulrich III for appointment to the rank of admiral and assignment as commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Europe and commander, Joint Forces Command Headquarters Naples, Italy. Ulrich is currently serving as commander JC Lisbon/commander, SIXTH Fleet, Naples, Italy.
