DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

Pfc. Joseph L. Knott, 21, of Yuma, Ariz., died April 17 in Baghdad, Iraq, when his convoy was attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire and an improvised explosive device. Knott was assigned to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colo.
