Flag Officer Assignments

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced the following flag officer assignments:

Rear Adm. William D. Crowder is being assigned as Assistant Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information, Plans, and Strategy, N3/N5B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. Crowder is currently Commander, Carrier Strike Group Nine, Everett. Wash.

 

Rear Adm. (lower half) Elizabeth A. Hight is being assigned as Principal Director for Global Information Grid Operations/Commander, Defense Information Systems Agency Global Operations/Deputy Commander for Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations, Washington, D.C. Hight is currently Assistant Division Director for Command, Control, Communications and Computers, N61C, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

 

Rear Adm. (lower half) Richard W. Hunt is being assigned as Commander, Carrier Strike Group Six, Mayport, Fla. Hunt is currently Deputy Director for Strategy and Policy, J5, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C.

 

Rear Adm. (lower half) Bernard J. McCullough is being assigned as Deputy Director, Surface Warfare Division, N76B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. McCullough is currently Commander, Carrier Strike Group Six, Mayport, Fla.

 

Rear Adm. (lower half) Richard O'Hanlon is being assigned as Commander, Carrier Strike Group Four, Norfolk, Va. O'Hanlon is currently Director, Standing Joint Force Headquarters, U.S. Joint Forces Command, Norfolk, Va.

 

Rear Adm. (lower half) Raymond A. Spicer is being assigned as Commander, Carrier Strike Group Twelve, Norfolk, Va. Spicer is currently Deputy Director, Surface Warfare Division, N76B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
